Statement from OPA President Glyn Moore – IPF Worlds

GlynMooreOn behalf of myself, all of Ontario Powerlifting members and Executive, I want to wish the very best of lifting to our members representing Canada at the Classic Worlds.

Ontario has nearly 25 lifters competing in Texas. We have lifters from Junior up to M4 each with the common goal of lifting to the very best of their ability. The Canadian Team is very well organised and has assigned coaches for each category so you will all be in very good hands. For those lifters who have not competed at the Worlds before I would offer two pieces of advice:

  • Concern yourself with the only lifter that you have any control over and that is yourself.
  • Remain invincible but communicate with your coaches to so that choices of numbers are practical and beneficial to Team Canada.

I will be spending most of the week in Texas either refereeing or helping with any coaching and running of numbers that may be asked of me.

Anyone who has any concerns of questions please get hold of me and I am sure that we will have a solution.

    Glyn Moore
    OPA President
