Although this is not a complete list, here are some of the items that lifters need to bring to every contest:

Equipped

  • CPU Card
  • IPF Approved gear (refer to the IPF Website regarding equipment rules here & for a list of approved equipment here)
  • Squat suit

  • Deadlift suit
  • Shoes
  • Lifting belt
  • Knee wraps

Classic

  • Knee Sleeves
  • Wrist wraps
  • Shin length socks
  • Plain T-Shirts
  • Men must have brief style underwear or athletic supporters. Boxer style underwear will not be accepted.
  • Important: If you are planning to compete ‘Classic’ or ‘Raw’, equipment is restricted to: shoes, socks, under-garments, non-supportive singlet, T-shirt, wrist-wraps, neoprene knee-sleeves and belt.
  • Elastics for wraps
  • Chalk
  • Baby powder
  • Towels
  • Pens / paper /calculator / clipboard
  • Watch
  • Scissors
  • Water /snacksv

Please plan your attempts in advance and be ready to submit your opening attempts at weigh in. Attempts must be submitted in kilograms not pounds.
